This memorable issue is filled with some classic California hippie sex imagery, low-rent erotica (fine by me!),, lots of tattoos, hairy beaver shots as well as the short story HOWL OF THE WEREWOLF, which is credited to Edward D. Wood, Jr. and an article by "Shirlee Lane"(Wood also, I believe) -- and 4 text-driven pictorials written with the three dots... ellipses Ed Wood was known to use. Photo spreads are a graphically appealing collection of color and B&W couples in action. | |
FINE MINUS Cover and spine are CRISP, FLAT AND GLOSSY with minor soil to edge of cover.. A dazzling copy of this hard-to-find men's mag |

As noted above, the article
entitled SEX FANTASIES AND THE FEMALE is credited to Shirlee Lane. Another GP magazine TROIS 1.1 credits Dick Trent in its table of contents then uses the name Shirlee Lane on the actual printed page of the article, leading me to believe that Ed Wood used Shirlee Lane as a pseudonym, just as he did Dick Trent. For fans of Edward D. Wood, Jr. I have made available the scanned-text of the included short story "HOWL OF THE WEREWOLF.". Page 1, Page 2, Page 3, and Page 4. Check out more Ed Wood writings, Pendulum magazines, Gallery Press Sleaze, or other independent men's mags of the 60s.
