| This is a fascinating late 60s, early 70s hippie graphics mag which I believe may have been edited by Edward D. Wood, Jr. as it features what reads like his fiction, SHORE LEAVE (about a boozing navy man encountering a cross-dressing hooker) and FLESH CURSE (a twisty tale of witches, curses and the birth experience). Though both are uncredited, they feature the three dot ellipsi and awkward prose stylings. In addition to the clunky text, this mag features some choice 60s hand-lettering style graphics as well as some super spongy photo-montages, lots of natural bush and many, many great nudes. There is lots more here -- including a great back cover shot!! |
