A fine example of an early Sun Era / Parliament nudist effort -- complete with tantalizing newsstand cover jacket intact. Highlight of this mag, issued in the days after Marilyn Monroe's death is of course the lead-off article MARILYN MONROE THE GIRL WHO WANTED TO BE A NUDIST by Michael Patrick, which is frankly a dud, replete with fake Marilyn Monroe nudist imagery. The rest of the magazine is standard quirky color and B&W nudist colony imagery including the color centerfold featuring some big binoculars! Also, lots of nudist news, and great adverts! The magazine features the ASA (American Sunbathing Association) seal of approval. | |
FINE MINUS or better A CRISP, BRIGHT, GLOSSY magazine including cover shield as shown. A gorgeous copy of this hard-to-find American Art Sun Era mag |
