As has been mentioned, Star Distributors built their publishing enterprise by catering to ever more specific erotic fantasy scenarios -- leaving no niche of sexual interest or sexual scenario unexplored as they carried on into the 1980s. For reasons perhaps owing to the ever-widening range of sexual experimentation in the mainstream, the Star booklines increasingly catered to the darker more fetishistic and oft times more violent fantasy realms of sexuality. In this series, Star Distributors distilled their focus to simply ... violent stories involving sex, sexual domination, victimization, and power dynamics in the realm of sexuality. The books in this series contain three or four vignettes grouped around a specific theme. The later books were packaged in an interesting two-color (pink & white) cover with clever use of the colors - such as the pink nipples and loin clothes, etc. Another fascinating niche exploration from Star Distributors.
While the harsh subject matter may be offensive to some, it must be appreciated as an element in our universe of sexuality. Exploration and contemplation of our feelings, fantasies and desires is an important aspect to a healthy society. These emotional realms exist and at the very least warrant our attention, rather than our ignorance.
